Self-deprecating humor is fine as long as it’s not targeting a wider audience. Then it’s not self-deprecating anymore.

If the statement is true, I have to write vero (I hope you have common sense and I don’t need to explain what that means). If it’s false, I have to rewrite the sentence using the vocabulary learned in class.
This is the statement: “La madre è sempre in cucina.” Translation: The mother is always in the kitchen.
